Job Description
Gracie Barra Kerrisdale is seeking a dedicated Student Assistance Officer to support newcomers and Indigenous individuals. Key responsibilities include implementing and evaluating administrative processes, establishing work priorities, and coordinating office services. This role requires assisting with immediate settlement needs, such as housing and transportation for newcomers. Additionally, you will facilitate social and labor market integration by connecting individuals with community resources and training programs.
Qualifications include 1 to 2 years of experience, a background in guiding Indigenous workers, and providing cultural competency training. The position is permanent, working 30 hours per week, with English as the primary language.
