Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Stone Slinger Truck Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating a slinger truck to transport and deliver materials such as aggregates, gravel, sand, and soil to various job sites.
Responsibilities:
– Safely operate a slinger truck to deliver materials in a timely manner.
– Load and unload materials using the truck’s conveyor belt system.
– Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance issues.
– Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies.
– Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and hours worked.
– Communicate effectively with supervisors, coworkers, and clients.
– Follow all safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
Requirements:
– Valid Class AZ or DZ license with a clean driving record.
– Minimum of 2 years of proven experience operating a slinger truck or similar equipment.
– Strong understanding of trucking regulations and safety standards.
– Physical ability to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions.
– Excellent communication skills and high attention to detail.
– Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as required.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $25.57-$34.26 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 70 per week
