Job Description

EVlution Charge Inc is looking for solar installers to work on solar projects in Alberta. The successful candidate will be primarily working on installing mechanical components of the ground-mounted solar PV systems and completing earthwork for public EV charger installations.

Mandatory requirements:

– Care about the environment, has a healthy and sustainable lifestyle, non-smoker;

– Capable and physically fit to work long, hot, or rainy days. Expect to handle solar modules weighing ~30kg.

– Fast on tools, please specify if you have carpenter, electrician, or mechanic experience.

– Accurate with measurements;

– Able to work with a team;

– Require min supervision when working on your task;

– Able to work out of town. While our head office is located in Edmonton, the position would require a significant amount of travel to work on the projects outside of the Greater Edmonton. A company vehicle will be provided for the out-of-town commute.

– Must have a clean driving history in Canada for the last 3 years and be insurable to drive the company truck with a trailer.

Preferences will be given to candidates who either have previous solar installation experience, or equipment operator experience, or can demonstrate they are quick on tools and at the same time are quick learners. This is a junior position with a correspondent compensation. Please note, we are not looking for Journeymen Electricians at this time.
