Education Requirements:

• College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma (1-2 years)
• Or equivalent experience

Work Setting:

• Nursing home/home for the aged

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide personal care and companionship to patients
• Assist with bathing, grooming, and personal hygiene
• Monitor vital signs and administer first aid if needed
• Carry out light housekeeping and laundry duties

Certifications Required:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Certificate
• First Aid Certificate
