Job Description
In accordance with the Vision, Purpose, and Values of Island Health, patient and staff safety is a top priority. We are seeking an Operating Room Booking Clerk to schedule patients for surgery while ensuring adherence to our established protocols.
Qualifications:
Applicants should have a Grade 12 education and three years of recent related experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Skills and Abilities:
- Typing speed of 45 wpm
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Effective verbal and written communication
- Ability to operate necessary equipment
- Strong organizational skills
