Job Description
Garden Hill Farmers Market is excited to announce openings for full-time, permanent kitchen assistants in our market kitchen. We are looking for experienced individuals to start immediately.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Scratch baking and ready baking
- Preparing sandwiches, salads, and soups
- Meal preparation, pickling, and canning
- Kitchen preparation, cleaning, and sanitization
- Maintaining a clean and safe workspace
- Following and possibly developing recipes
- Possessing an Ontario Food Handlers certificate or willingness to obtain one
- Lifting up to 50 lbs safely and standing for extended periods
Pay ranges from $18.00 to $19.00 per hour.
