Job Description
Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring a
Janitor
on a temporary basis (up to one year) on our Supply Chain team.
This position requires
on-site
work and is based in
Edmonton, AB
.
Hours of Work:
Tuesday to Saturday, 10:00 a.m. – 6:30 p.m.

What you’ll do:
Perform all housekeeping activities in the warehouse, including scrubbing and sweeping floors, collecting garbage, and managing recyclables.
Assist with snow removal, yard work, and lunchroom housekeeping as needed.
Maintain cleanliness and stock supplies in the washrooms.
Work in the freezer in sub-zero temperatures when required (PPE and premium pay provided).
Operate and move heavy machinery, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, as needed.
Regularly clean warehouse racking to maintain a safe and organized environment.
Ensure adherence to all security programs and protocols.
Perform other duties as required to support warehouse operations.

You will work closely with the Maintenance team. This team strives to cultivate a culture of continuous improvement, teamwork and safe work.
The Collaborators:
You will work closely with other functions in our Supply Chain business unit and collaborate across the organization with teams such as Operations.

Have a high school education (or equivalent).
Have 6 months of related experience.
Can work in the freezer when required.
