Job Description
A skilled Instrumentation Journeyperson is responsible for installing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintaining instrumentation and control systems in industrial facilities. Duties include reading P&IDs and electrical schematics, calibrating sensors and transmitters, wiring and loop checking, repairing valves and field instruments, and supporting PLC and DCS interfaces. Candidates must hold a recognized journeyperson or trade certificate, have 3+ years’ experience, strong electrical/mechanical aptitude, and experience with calibration tools and safety procedures. Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and on rotating shifts may be required. Good communication, problem-solving skills, and adherence to company safety standards are essential.
