Job Description

We seek inspiring, high-energy group leaders to teach one-hour after-school chess classes on weekdays and weekends. Ideal candidates have experience leading children (teachers, assistants, counselors, extracurricular instructors), strong chess knowledge and tournament familiarity, creativity, punctuality, responsibility, and the ability to motivate students. This part-time, fixed-term (3 months) casual role pays from $40.00 per hour. Candidates should be located near Donmills/Steeles and able to reliably commute to Thornhill, ON. Bachelor’s degree and 5 years teaching experience are preferred. In-person availability required.
