Job Description

The Food Service Worker will perform assigned duties in the assembly, production, and distribution of food to patients. Responsibilities include preparing salads, sandwiches, special diet items, and hot food items, as well as tray pick-up and delivery of food and beverages.

Qualifications:

• Good oral and written communication skills
• High standards of sanitation and safety (HACCP Guidelines)
• Good interpersonal skills
• Knowledge and experience in food service
• Ability to work in a collaborative team environment
• Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged periods
• General good health and a level of fitness appropriate for the position
