Job Description

Fairmount Security Services seeks a dedicated Crossing Guard in Owen Sound, ON. Responsible for directing traffic, using a stop sign, and assisting students and pedestrians at designated crosswalks during school hours. Monitor traffic flow, communicate with children, parents, and drivers, report unsafe conditions, and remain alert to hazards. Training, uniform, coat, and stop sign provided. Full-time, in-person position; pay up to $19.00/hour. Candidates must have a clean criminal record and obtain a Vulnerable Sector Check. Ability to work outdoors in varied weather and a commitment to child safety and community service required. Previous experience with strong communication skills preferred.
