Job Description

Join Alberta Health Services as a Cook I, where you will play a vital role in food preparation, portioning, and serving menu items with limited supervision. Your responsibilities will include preparing multi-ingredient recipes, utilizing various cooking techniques, and ensuring food quality and safety standards are met. You will follow established AHS guidelines for cleanliness and sanitization in the kitchen.

Location: Barrhead Continuing Care.

Requirements: Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent, physically capable of lifting up to 46lbs, and Food Sanitation and Hygiene Certificate. This position requires walking and standing for the entire shift.

Salary: $23.55 – $25.90 per hour.
