Job Description
Wendel’s Bookstore and Cafe
We are an independent bookstore looking for a retail bookseller with a passion for books and people. Retail experience and general computer skills are a requirement. Above all must be committed to great customer service. This is a position with extensive customer interaction and requires a person with an outgoing and positive attitude. Duties include book sales, general bookstore administration and recommendations to customers, receiving and stocking books and general bookstore related duties.
Administration skill an asset as there is opportunity to expand the position to include administration support for the bookstore and café.
Hours would include evening and weekend shifts. Our earliest shift starts at 9:00 am and the last shift ends at 10:15 pm.
Pay rate/benefits:
Wages are set depending on experience. Paid breaks.
A discount is also offered for both books and cafe.
