Job Description
Newlands Golf & Country Club seeks a Banquet Manager. Requires secondary (high) school diploma or equivalent and 1–2 years’ experience. Responsibilities include budgeting and cost control, estimating ingredients and supplies, monitoring revenues and labor costs, planning daily operations, hiring, supervising and training staff, enforcing liquor and health & safety regulations, negotiating with suppliers, handling guest concerns, preparing reports and maintaining records, and ensuring food and service quality.
