Job Description

In alignment with Island Health’s Vision, Purpose, and Values, our priority is patient and staff safety. We are seeking a Booking & Scheduling Clerk to receive and process booking requests for diagnostic and medical treatment procedures.

Key responsibilities include determining appointment priorities, scheduling patients using electronic applications, and coordinating with physician offices and departments to resolve scheduling conflicts.

Qualifications:

• Grade 12 and two years of recent related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and effective communication skills.
• Ability to operate related equipment and organize work effectively.
