Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our reputable dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care, perform comprehensive dental treatments, and collaborate with our experienced team to ensure optimal oral health outcomes. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough dental examinations and diagnose oral health issues using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs.
- Perform a wide range of dental procedures including restorations, extractions, root canals, crowns, and preventive care.
- Utilize digital imaging and CAD technology for precise diagnostics and restorations.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using Epic or Dentrix electronic health record systems.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, treatment options, and preventive care strategies.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff to ensure seamless patient experiences.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control standards to maintain a clean and safe clinical environment.
- Stay current with advancements in dentistry through continuing education and professional development activities.
Skills
- Proficiency in using Epic or Dentrix electronic health record systems for documentation and scheduling.
- Experience with CAD/CAM technology for designing restorations is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of pediatric dentistry practices to effectively treat young patients.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to dental practice.
- Prior experience working in a dental office setting is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages and backgrounds.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team dedicated to patient care excellence.
