Job Description
We are a packaging manufacturing company that has been in business for the past 40 years. We have a strong foundation of management and staff, some whom have been working together since the very beginning. Our support system will be there to provide the necessary guidance to make the transition as easy as possible. We have a private parking lot and newly renovated lockers, lunch area and washrooms.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
– read and understand docket information
– slitting rolls to conform to the client’s needs
– being able to nicely splice the rolls
– carefully wrap and label all rolls made to spec
– clean and organize slitting area
– constant attention to conduct work and operate machinery in a safe manner.
– meet the physical demands which require bending, consistently walking and standing.
Wage to be discussed depending on experience and knowledge.

Fonctions et responsabilités essentielles:
– lire et comprendre les informations de la feuille du travail
– fendre le film pour se conformer aux besoins du client
– pouvoir joliment épisser les rouleaux
– Emballez et étiquetez soigneusement tous les rouleaux fabriqués selon les spécifications
– nettoyer et organiser l’espace du travail
– une attention constante à effectuer les travaux et à utiliser les machines de manière sûre.
– répondre aux exigences physiques qui nécessitent de se pencher, de marcher et de se tenir debout.
Salaire sera discuté en fonction de l’expérience et des connaissances.

Pay: $16.50-$22.00 per hour
