The Role:

We are currently seeking a Dietary Aide who will play a key role in supporting the nutritional and dining needs of our residents. In this role, you’ll help create a clean, safe, and welcoming mealtime experience while upholding the highest standards of care and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, assemble and serve food for regular and modified diets.

  • Support dining room service: setup, meal delivery, clearing, and sanitization.

  • Assist with kitchen cleanliness: wash dishes, mop floors, dispose of waste.

  • Follow Alberta Health Services and Accommodation Standards.

  • Comply with infection prevention and safety procedures (including WHMIS).

  • Contribute to a positive and respectful workplace culture.

  • Support emergency preparedness and respond calmly in crisis situations.

  • Maintain personal hygiene and cleanliness of work areas.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of Grade 10 or equivalent.
  • Experience in the food service industry is preferred but not required.
  • Previous dietary experience is a plus.
