Job Description

Reporting to the Manager, the Patient Porter uses a computerized dispatch system to safely transport patients within the hospital, assist patient care staff, perform basic clerical duties, and maintain a clean work area. Requires Grade 10 plus one year recent related experience or equivalent, physical ability to perform duties, basic typing, organizational skills, effective verbal and written communication, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to operate dispatch equipment.
