Job Description
Island Health is hiring a Scheduling Clerk. Reporting to the Program Coordinator, Orthotics, Pedorthics, Prosthetics & Seating, you will schedule outpatient appointments and perform general accounting, clerical, receptionist, and word-processing duties for the QAOPS program using a PC and standard office software. Required: Grade 12, completion of a recognized accounting course and two years’ recent related experience (or equivalent). Key skills: 45 wpm typing, knowledge of medical terminology, strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal skills, ability to operate related equipment, organize work, supervise, and meet physical demands of the role.
