Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Technician to join our financial team at Bains Accounting & Tax Solutions Inc. You will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and supporting overall accounting functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform data entry and general ledger preparation.
- Complete month-end reconciliations and generate financial reports.
- Handle professional client communications.
- Calculate GST and conduct reasonability tests.
- Assist in tax return preparation and budget planning.
Qualifications:
- Proficient in accounting software like CASEWARE and QUICKBOOKS.
- Strong understanding of accounts payable and accounting principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Job Type: Full-time, Pay: $16.00-$18.00 per hour, Expected hours: 35 per week.
