Job Description

Island Health (Vancouver Island Health Authority) is seeking a dedicated Material Handler to join our team. In this role, you will prioritize patient and staff safety, adhering to our Vision, Purpose, and Values. Reporting to the Logistics Coordinator, your responsibilities will include the distribution and transportation of hospital items such as laboratory specimens, blood, pharmaceuticals, and medical supplies, as well as managing equipment like beds and medical gas cylinders. Record-keeping and maintaining the cleanliness of our medical rolling stock will also be key duties.
