Job Description

Island Health is seeking a dedicated Material Management Driver to join our team. This position reports to the Transport Supervisor and requires the operation, loading, and unloading of vehicles to transport a variety of items including garbage, linen, supplies, and bio-hazardous materials while ensuring patient safety and adhering to schedules.

Qualifications

Applicants should have a minimum of a Grade 10 education or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience, along with a valid Class 5 vehicle license. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, and have the physical ability to perform the duties required.
